Groundbreaking Ceremony for EarthMover Credit Union!

Located at the corner of U.S. 34 and Hill Avenue in Montgomery, Illinois, EarthMover Credit Union is building a new full-service branch.  The 3,900 sq. ft. building will have four full-service teller stations, six customer service offices, conference space, and waiting areas for family and children.  There are three drive-up teller lanes along with a 24-hour ATM.  The building is a brick and stucco structure in the “Midwestern prairie-style” which is similar to the EarthMover Credit Union facility in Yorkville, Illinois designed by PG Architecture Design/Build.  Estimated completion of this facility is October 2008.

What It Means To Be Green And How To Get There

Throughout history man has designed his dwellings and buildings to be responsive to nature, to maximize comfort and for protection from weather influences. Ancient Romans and Greeks designed shading and natural cooling techniques. This tradition developed through the ages and culminated in the post-war years of the 1940’s and 1950’s. One of the leaders of natural environmental control was Frank Lloyd Wright. He refined solar control, natural ventilation, and integrated his buildings with nature. These same notions are driving the “Green” movement today.
